Tänzer ohne Grenzen e.V. ist ein lokal, regional, national und international agierender Zusammenschluss von Einzelpersonen, Projekten und Institutionen, die sich schwerpunktmäßig im Bereich Tanz, aber auch in den Darstellenden Künsten darüber hinaus engagieren. Anliegen des Zusammenschlusses ist es, das gesellschaftspolitische Wirkpotential der performativen Künste zu nutzen, zu fördern und zu stärken: sei es in den Bereichen Bildung, Politik und Kultur oder für den interkulturellen Dialog und gesellschaftliche Mobilität.
Nachhaltige kulturelle Bildung erachten wir dabei als eine Schlüsselkompetenz, die es zu vermitteln gilt. Denn sie ermöglicht es Menschen allen Alters, Selbstbewusstsein, persönliche und soziale Kompetenz zu entwickeln, gesellschaftliche Veränderung aktiv zu gestalten, an Demokratisierungsprozessen mitzuwirken und so die Zivilgesellschaft zu stärken. Dabei berufen wir uns auf das Menschenrecht der kulturellen Selbstbestimmung, wie es im Jahr 2007 in die Charta der UNESCO aufgenommen wurde.
Hierfür wollen wir auf vielfältige Weise agieren, indem wir

TOG e.V. verfolgt ausschließlich und unmittelbar gemeinnützige Interessen und ist unabhängig von Politik und Religion.

Ein offenes kostenfreies Tanz-Performance-Trainingsprogramm in Bezug und als Vorbereitung für unsere Performances und Flashmobs auf der Bühne und im öffentlichen Raum
Das Tanztraining und die Proben werden von Be van Vark und Sven Seeger geleitet.
Ziel ist es einen PERFORMANCE ART POOL mit euch aufzubauen, deren Teilnehmer sich optional an den verschiedenen Projektformaten der Schlesischen27 beteiligen.

Sonho em Movimento is a VideoDanceLivePerformance project, realized in August & September in Mindelo (Cape Verde). It is initiated and directed by Be van Vark/tanztheater-global (Berlin, Germany) and co-produced by the Mindel’act Festival 2011.
By bringing together Cape Verdean cultural traditions with Contemporary Dance and Video Art, Sonho em Movimento aesthetically explores the national identity of the African lusophone Island state. What actually are the unifying characteristics of the highly diverse islands the state consists of? Therefore, Be van Vark (choreographer and artistic director of tanztheater-global) and her German team of three co-choreographers/dancers and a video artist work together with four Cape Verdean semi-professional performers from two different islands: with Virginy and Mario, two outstanding talents from Tarrafal, a small town on the island of Santiago, and with two further performers that will be choosen members of Craq’Otchod – a theatre group which is based in Mindelo, in particular in Monte Sossego, the biggest deprived area of the capital of Sao Vicente. The artistic involvement in their reality of everyday life, with their dreams, desires and fears is the starting point for Sonho em Movimento.
Sonho em Movimento is the 3rd performance project of Be van Vark/tanztheater-global and her German team of professionals with young Cape Verdeans on site. Due to this fact, beside its aesthetic concern the project persues the strategic goal to qualify and promote the highly talented semi-professional Cape Verdean performers for a professional future in dance and to connect them with national and international artists. The Mindel’act Festival, which is the most important annual theatrical event of the African lusophone countries since more than ten years, supports this goal by co-producing and presenting the performance – and offering the perfect public sphere for this artistic involvement with the Cape Verdean national identity. It is the first time that a production with German participation takes place at the Mindel’act Festival.
